Churches Bladon

Churches Bladon – We are the Anglican parish church for Bladon and are here to serve the whole community.

St Martin’s is a friendly, growing, welcoming church with a good choir, children’s ministry, study groups, warm fellowship and lively social events.

We are privileged to be custodians of the burial place of Sir Winston Churchill, and welcome thousands of visitors from around the world every year. Use this page to explore all the activities of our church, to find out more about weddings, baptisms or funerals and more.

Our weekly Sunday service is at 9.30am.

This has been a place of Christian worship since the 11th century.

Each Sunday we hold services at 9.30am. Click here for week by week.
On the third Sunday of the month we hold a more informal family service, suitable for all ages.

Weddings and christenings are moments of great celebration which we would be happy to help you plan. Contact us here.

We have space to hire for parties or events with our Bladon Church Room next to the church (wheelchair and pushchair accessible). Make a booking enquiry.

We are a thriving and sociable community and there are plenty of ways to get involved. From joining our choir led by Tom McCoy, volunteering with our monthly Tuesday lunch club or Wednesday morning toddler group, to learning and growing with our study groups, there’s something for everyone.
